Yes! MoviePlace is completely free. There are no hidden fees, no premium tiers, and you don't need to enter any payment information. The app is supported by ads (in the mobile app) and donations.
📲 Where can I download the app?
The MoviePlace app is available on the Google Play Store. Click the "Get App" button in the top right corner or search for "MoviePlace" on the Play Store. iOS version is coming soon.
🎬 Where does the movie/TV data come from?
All data (posters, backdrops, synopses, cast, trailers, ratings) is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). MoviePlace is not endorsed or certified by TMDB – we simply use their excellent API to bring you up‑to‑date content.
🔍 Can I watch full movies or episodes on MoviePlace?
No. MoviePlace is a discovery platform – you can find information, watch trailers, read reviews, and see where to watch (via watch providers). We do not host or stream any copyrighted content. For full movies/TV shows, you can rent or buy them from services like Amazon, Apple TV, etc.
📝 How can I report incorrect information?
If you find incorrect data (e.g., wrong poster, missing season), the best way is to update it directly on TMDB – MoviePlace syncs their data periodically. For issues specific to the website or app, contact us via the "Contact" link in the footer.
🔒 Is my data safe?
We take privacy seriously. MoviePlace does not collect any personal information unless you voluntarily contact us. We don't use tracking cookies for advertising on the website. The mobile app may show non‑personalized ads. See our Privacy Policy for details.
