Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

1. Open the MoviePlace app
2. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner
3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
4. Confirm the deletion in the two confirmation dialogs
5. Your account will be deleted immediately

Method 2: Email Request

• Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
• Include your registered email address
• We will process your request within 30 days

What gets deleted:

• Your account information (name, email, profile picture)
• All your saved favorites and watchlists
• Your app preferences and settings

• Authentication credentials

Deletion Timeline: In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are processed within 30 days. Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory purposes as required by law.

Note: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the app again.

16.2 How to Reset Your Advertising ID

You can reset your advertising ID to limit ad tracking and receive less personalized ads:

3. Tap "Reset advertising ID"
4. Confirm by tapping "OK"
